History

Byakko

Toyojzumi Jinja, enshrined in Yawara, Yui, is an ancient shrine that brings abundant accumulation of blessings, true to its name. The fishermen of Suruga Bay and nearby farmers held deep faith and came to pray for abundant harvests each year. Merchants traveling the salt roads also prayed for safe journeys before this shrine. The good fortune accumulated over the years is deeply etched in the hearts of visitors even now.
