Kozo-zan Daisan-ji

Daisan-ji rests in the embrace of Mount Kozo, south of Kamogawa. Ancient records in our possession tell that this temple is a place brimming with the compassion of Kannon Bodhisattva. The footsteps of countless pilgrims climbing the stone stairs gradually bring quietude to the depths of one's heart, extinguishing the flames of worldly desires. Within the ancient serenity of this mountain temple, people encounter their truest nature, and this sacred flow continues unbroken.
