History

A temple enshrined in Aoi Ward, Shizuoka. This temple bearing the name 'Gyoyuji' has preserved ancient Buddhist teachings and answers the prayers of pilgrims. For long ages, it has been a spiritual refuge for the people of Kawai. I too have gazed many times at the moon rising beyond this temple's tiles.
