Koshiba Hachiman Shrine

Koshiba Hachimangu is a Hachiman shrine located in Koshibacho, Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka City. Although its formal name is simply Hachimangu, it is widely known by the locality-prefixed name. The deity Hachiman, revered for martial prowess and victory, has long been a source of faith in this area of Shimizu. As the tutelary shrine of the community, it has walked alongside the daily lives of local residents through the ages.
