Hasuge Shrine stands on Mount Hasuge in Aiko-gun Aiko-cho, Kanagawa Prefecture, and held the status of village shrine (go-sha) in the old shrine ranking system. Located near the summit of Mount Hasuge, it flourished as a sacred site of Shugendo mountain asceticism in ancient times. The grove surrounding the shrine has been designated a Natural Monument by Kanagawa Prefecture, preserving a rich natural environment to this day. Seven deities are enshrined here, including Kunitokotachi-no-mikoto, Izanagi, Izanami, and Homudawake-no-mikoto, offering blessings for family safety, business prosperity, and academic success. The annual festival is held on March 28th.
