Narita Kumano Jinja

This shrine, as an ancient shrine enshrining Kumano Gongen, has been worshipped since ancient times. When I was a child, I felt a mysterious power in the tranquility of the precincts. It is said to have been founded in the Heian period and has been revered as the guardian deity of local people. It is particularly said to have benefits for longevity and easy childbirth, attracting many worshipers. It is a shrine with an impressive tranquil atmosphere and a mystical sacred tree.
