History
Seikōjin Kiyosumi-ji, nestled in the mountains of Takarazuka, is a sacred site beloved by people throughout the Kansai region as "Seikōjin-san." Founded at the behest of Emperor Uda in the early Heian period, it is known as an ancient temple of the Shingon sect dedicated to the deity of fire and the kitchen god. It is particularly famous for its benefits in preventing fire and ensuring household safety, attracting hundreds of thousands of worshippers during New Year's visits. The fierce deity is also a guardian of the kitchen and receives devoted worship from those praying for business prosperity. It is a peaceful sacred place where one can also enjoy the natural beauty of each season.
