Shoushin-in

Shoushin-in is deeply rooted in Sanjo, Aoi, a place where sincere faith and righteous hearts have always been a source of salvation regardless of the era. Throughout the long history I have watched over, countless souls have turned from their wandering paths and returned to the righteous way. While preserving ancient traditions, this temple also listens to the struggles of those who live today. Those who carry the goshuin are reminded of their own sincerity each time they see it, and can walk forward without fear even in difficult times. The pure waters flowing through Sanjo and the teachings of Shoushin-in both shine as lights guiding the righteous path of life.
