History

The Nishinomiya Jinja enshrined in the port town of Yaizu is a branch shrine of the main Nishinomiya shrine in Hyogo, dedicated to the god Ebisu. In this place where fishermen's faith runs deep, the wild sea is said to have calmed, bringing abundant catches. Revered as a god of commerce, it continues to gather many worshippers even now.
