Shimaana Jinja

Shimaana Shrine, located in Shimano, Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture, is a shikinaisha (shrine listed in the Engishiki) and held the former rank of kensha (prefectural shrine). Recognized by the imperial court since ancient times, it has long served as a guardian of the local community. The shrine grounds, surrounded by the rich nature of Ichihara, offer a peaceful atmosphere that calms the hearts of visitors. To this day, it continues to receive the prayers of worshippers, protecting household safety and the prosperity of daily life.
