Munakata Shrine

This shrine honors the three goddesses of Munakata, enshrined in Funao, Inzai. Since ancient times, it has especially protected women's hearts and nurtured their gifts. The traditions of dance and music have been passed unbroken through generations by these goddesses' guidance. I have witnessed countless women find their true selves here and begin to walk paths of brilliance. That light of compassion continues to gently guide women of the new age.
