Utsumochi Jinja is an ancient shrine located in a nature-rich area of Fujisawa City, known as a deity of safe childbirth and conception. Its founding is ancient, and according to shrine tradition, Empress Jingū prayed for safe childbirth in this area during her expedition to the three Korean kingdoms. The main deity is Okinaga Tarashi Hime no Mikoto, also known as Empress Jingū, who is believed to grant the benefits of safe childbirth, conception, and family safety. The shrine grounds are filled with a quiet and refreshing atmosphere, providing peace to visitors. The goshuin expresses the dignity of a deity of safe childbirth and conception.
