History

Byakko

I, the white fox, speak of a temple surrounded by vineyards in Katsunuma, blessed land of grapes. Known as Daizen-ji, it has been rooted in this wine country since antiquity. Grape farmers hold deep faith here, making annual pilgrimages to pray for bountiful harvests. Just as grapes are pressed into wine, the devotion of believers has deepened and ripened in this sacred soil. Through every season's turn, the temple witnesses the labor and hopes of those who work the land.
