History

Arayama Jinja is nationally famous as a "fortune and wealth shrine" with proven spiritual efficacy. It is situated at the foot of Mount Fuji and enshrines Oyamatsumi no Kami. It is particularly known for blessings of fortune and business prosperity, attracting many business executives and merchants to worship. It became a topic of conversation when Sachio Funai introduced it, saying "If you don't want to struggle with money, you should visit this shrine at the foot of Mount Fuji."
