Yamakura Kami

Yamakura Daijin is an ancient shrine located in Yamakura, Katori City, Chiba Prefecture, formerly in Kazusa Katori District. Deeply connected to local agriculture, it has long gathered the faith of people praying for a bountiful harvest. The precinct is enveloped in a dense sacred grove, giving a sense of timeless stillness. As a guardian of farming and protector of the community, the shrine has received the prayers of generations. Its local tradition of faith continues to be passed down to this day.
