Kasuga Jinja is a local shrine located in the center of Hiratsuka City. Its founding is ancient, and it is said to have been enshrined from Kasuga Taisha in Nara. The main deities include Takemikazuchi no Mikoto and three others, who are believed to grant various benefits such as family safety, business prosperity, and exorcism. Despite being in the city, the shrine grounds have a quiet and calm atmosphere, serving as a place of relaxation for local residents. Various festivals are held throughout the year, allowing one to feel the connection with the local community. The goshuin expresses the power of Kasuga Shin.
