History

Byakko

Rinsho-ji rests peacefully at Yamanoojiri, on the slopes of Mount Fuji, and has protected travelers beside the ancient mountain paths. The winds that blow through the mountains are my very breath. This temple, surrounded by thousand-year-old cedars, has the miraculous power to strengthen the legs of climbers and purify their hearts. Those who worship here and receive the goshuin are assured safe mountain journeys. One might say that the path to Fuji truly begins at this temple.
