Komachi Onsen Jinja is situated in the Komachi district of Fukushima and has long been cherished by people alongside the blessings of hot springs. True to its location in a hot spring area, it has been revered as the guardian deity of hot spring therapy and the protective kami of the region for many years. Located in the center of this ancient and prosperous town, the shrine's history is believed to have begun with the discovery and development of the hot springs.
