Ryuguji is an ancient temple of the Nichiren school located in Katase, Fujisawa. It is a sacred site connected to Saint Nichiren, with legends of miracles from when the saint suffered religious persecution at this location in the Kamakura period. It is particularly known for its spiritual efficacy in warding off evil and bringing good fortune. A five-story pagoda stands majestically within the grounds, creating a solemn atmosphere. Located near Enoshima, it is a holy site where many pilgrims visit seeking spiritual support, and through the teachings of Saint Nichiren, it bestows strength to overcome life's hardships.
