Higashikanagawa Kumano Jinja

This shrine enshrines deities from the Kumano Sanzan and has protected the Higashikanagawa area since ancient times. Although the exact founding date is unknown, it has been revered as a tutelary shrine that has walked alongside people's lives and is deeply rooted in the community. Within the grounds, trees exuding strong vitality grow, and a tranquil atmosphere flows. The enshrined deities, such as those for household safety, exorcism, good luck, and safe childbirth, are always close to people's wishes and watch over them warmly.
