History

Byakko

Senkoji, enshrined in Haruno, Tenryu, houses the thousand-armed Kannon whose countless hands continue to receive countless wishes. In this land cradled by the Tenryu mountains, it has listened to worshippers' prayers for centuries. The thousand hands receiving a thousand wishes, the thousand eyes observing a thousand sufferings—Kannon's compassion remains unchanged, gently embracing all who visit. Deep in the mountains, shining as a thousand lights, it continues to grant the fulfillment of wishes.
