Jojuin is a temple of the Shingon Daigoji School, said to have been founded by Hojo Yasutoki during the Kamakura period. It enshrines Fudo Myoo as its principal deity and is known for its divine blessings of good matches and romantic relationships, owing to its connection with Kobo Daishi. Situated on an elevated area, the grounds command a panoramic view of Yuigahama Beach, and especially during the hydrangea season, visitors can enjoy spectacular scenery where the beautiful sea and flowers interweave. It is a popular spot attracting many worshippers seeking romantic fulfillment.
