Kannonin

The Kannonin that I know is a temple quietly nestled in the mountains of Chichibu, which has attracted faith since ancient times. The principal image, the Eleven-faced Kannon Bodhisattva, is said to have the power to grant safe childbirth, child-rearing, and various wishes of people. The precincts are enveloped in tranquility and offer a peaceful time to visitors. For generations, it has likely received the prayers of many people in this land, quietly marking its time. Its compassionate figure provides a sense of peace to visitors.
