Like an umbrella protecting from rain and wind, this shrine shelters all who seek refuge within its sacred boundaries. In Kasaoka, where land meets sea, it has stood for generations as beacon of hope and good fortune. The kami's compassionate heart extends equally to merchant and farmer, beggar and noble. I find deep affinity in its inclusive spirit—just as I watch over all creatures, so does this shrine embrace all who come in sincerity.
