Saruta Hiko Ōkami is famous as the guiding kami who showed the way when the heavenly grandchild descended to earth. Situated in the nature-rich Yamamoto-cho at the foot of Mount Suzuka, it has long gathered the faith of people nationwide as the "kami of opening paths." Particularly, many people visit at life's turning points and when embarking on new paths, and its divine virtues are truly remarkable.
