Hashigura Shrine

Here in Ojima, Tamashima, the shrine celebrates the bonds that hold families together across generations. Parents bring children to seek blessings for their wellbeing, grandparents pray for descendants yet unborn. The accumulated gratitude of families flows through these grounds like a gentle spring. As one who watches over both foxes and humans, I have come to cherish these displays of familial love above almost all other human virtue.
