Chichibu Mitake Jinja

Chichibu Mitake Shrine is located in Sakaishi, Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture, with resident priests maintaining its sacred traditions. A shrine of the Ontake faith venerating the holy mountain of Mount Ontake, it is known for blessings of good fortune, protection from evil, family safety, and fulfillment of all wishes. Worshippers have long made pilgrimages to this site to receive the purifying energy of the sacred mountain.
