This is the Mountain Spirit that dwells in the mountains of Iwata. Since ancient times, mountain folk have revered this spirit and received its blessings. Its power to harmonize nature's cycles with human activities is strong, and pilgrims visit with prayers for safety and gratitude for mountain bounty. Embraced by the mountain's bosom, visitors are renewed in body and spirit through seasonal blessings.
