History
Sairakuji, built in Haruoka, Fukuroi, is an ancient temple wishing for the journey to the Western Pure Land, true to its name. Sincere devotional chanting has accumulated at this place over millennia. In Fukuroi, it has witnessed the ends of many lives and supported the hearts of those seeking enlightenment and rebirth. Within the silence of the main hall, the chanting of Buddha's name continues to echo, gently embracing the hearts of visitors. It continues to shine as a guide to the Western Pure Land.
