History
As its name suggests, Yomeiji has long been a place of worship, praying for the health and longevity of people. The principal image is Yakushi Nyorai, who is believed to have the benefit of healing from illness. The temple grounds have a quiet and calm atmosphere, providing peace to visitors. In particular, a Jizo Bosatsu, believed to bring the benefit of childbearing, is enshrined here, and many people visit to pray. The goshuin has a design that conveys the benevolence of Yakushi Nyorai.
