History
Fukiage Jinja, dwelling in the Fukiage area, has received the very breath of the earth itself. As its name suggests, this sacred place governs the power of wind and has brought blessings to the region since ancient times. The wishes of worshippers ride upon clean winds to reach heaven, bringing the gifts of the seasons and peace. The history of this shrine is itself the history of prayers of those living in its land.
