Sai'enji is an ancient temple of the Jodo sect located near the sea in Senaki, Nagato. As a nenbutsu practice hall where people pray for rebirth in Amida's Pure Land in the West, it has long gathered the faith of local people. Situated in the picturesque seaside of Senaki, it offers a wonderful view of the sunset sinking into the Sea of Japan. It is a sacred place where people quietly join their hands in prayer, seeking solace wrapped in the compassion of Amida Nyorai and freed from the sufferings of this world.
