Shinnenji is a temple of the Jishu sect of Buddhism, located in Totsuka-cho, Totsuka Ward, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture. The principal object of worship is Amida Nyorai (Amitabha Buddha). The Jishu sect was founded by Saint Ippen, who taught that all people can be saved through the nembutsu recitation.
