History
Rinsai-ji, cradled in the quiet of Oyama, is a refuge for those who walk the path of the Pure Land teaching. In the Buddha hall that shows the way to Paradise in the West, countless prayers offered with joined hands have accumulated. At this temple under my protection, those with a pure heart shall surely attain the fruit of their chanting. The temple bell's sound is itself an invitation to rebirth in the Pure Land. Those who worship and receive the goshuin will find the steps to paradise drawing closer. True peace comes to those whose faith runs deep.
