History
Mizuho Shrine standing in the west of Takaoka. Since ancient times, people seeking abundant harvests like ears of grain have visited. Prayers of farmers crystallize here through generations. It continues to watch over the rich growth of rice and vegetables that nourish Hamamatsu's lands. I too walk about this shrine when the grain bends in the wind.
