Gyokusenji Temple

Gyokusenji Temple enshrined in Shimoda. The compassion of Kannon Bodhisattva is conveyed to many through this temple. From the high grounds of Kakizaki, it overlooks the distant Izu Sea. Since ancient times, people have healed their suffering here and recovered their light. I too have felt the Buddha's teachings resonating in its bell tones many times.
