Nihon Daiichi Kumano Shrine, enshrined in Hayashi of Kurashiki, is a shrine blessed by the kami of Kumano. Hearing the name of this shrine alone, ancient pilgrims kindled hope in their hearts. Each time I visit, I sense the light flowing from Kumano's sacred ground still protects people.
