History
This temple is the 1st pilgrimage site in the Chichibu 34 pilgrimage. Its founding is ancient, said to date back to the Heian period. The principal image is Kannon Bodhisattva, and it has long been worshipped for saving people from suffering and granting wishes. The quiet and tasteful temple grounds offer solace to visitors. It is a historic temple filled with the prayers of many pilgrims.
