Takiharano Miya is an auxiliary shrine of the Naiku (Inner Shrine) of Ise Jingu, where it enshrines the spirit of Amaterasu Oomikami. Situated in the rich natural surroundings of Taiki, it is a beautiful shrine located on the banks of the clear Miyagawa River. Known as the "original Ise," it has an ancient history, and there is a tradition that this place was revered as a sacred site even before the founding of Jingu. Protected by deep forests and pure water, this shrine allows for peaceful prayer away from urban bustle. It is a special place where one can feel both the power of nature and the blessings of the deity.
