Seiryuji Temple in Yorii Town, Saitama, is a Soto Zen temple founded in 1532 by the local lord Fujita Yasukuni as his family temple. It flourished under the patronage of Hojo Ujikuni, lord of Hachigata Castle, whose surrender agreement was reportedly signed here. The graves of Fujita Yasukuni and Hojo Ujikuni, along with their wives, stand side by side in the temple cemetery and are designated as a Saitama Prefectural Historic Site.
