鳥居正面すぐ前に無料駐車場があり、拝殿まで徒歩約2分です。台数が少なく、初詣期間（大晦日〜三が日）は混雑するため午前中の早い時間帯に参拝するのが無難です。
御朱印は拝殿左の社務所で授与。宮司不在日や繁忙期は書き置きのみとなるため、参拝前に神社のSNSで対応状況を確認することをおすすめします。神門とコウノトリが描かれた絵入り御朱印も授与されています。
毎年5月5日に行われる「幟まわし」は、緑の衣装をまとった人々がほら貝を吹きながら大幟を回す珍しい神事です。境内北東隅には「一木一草も刈ってはならない」とされる禁足地があり立ち入りは不可です。
