History
Inuneko Jinja is a unique shrine in Kanagawa Ward, Yokohama. As its name suggests, it is believed to bring benefits for the health of beloved animals like dogs and cats, safe childbirth, and matchmaking. It has been cherished by local people since ancient times, and many visit to pray for the health of their beloved pets. I, too, pay my respects to the guardian deities of these adorable animals for a moment.
