History
Rendaiji is a temple located on Mount Yuka in Kojima, Kurashiki, bearing a name inspired by the beautiful lotus flower. Mount Yuka has long been known as a sacred mountain and is a pilgrimage site visited by many. The lotus flower, blooming beautifully from mud, has been regarded as a symbol of living purely by overcoming hardship.
