Gencho-ji

Gencho-ji is an ancient Jodo-shu temple in Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture, said to have been founded during the Muromachi period. Over the long years, it has sustained the faith of the local community while enduring several repairs and reconstructions. Ancient trees in the quiet grounds speak to its eternal history.
