Fukuriki Kounji Shrine

In the mountainous Fukuriki district of Tsuyama stands this fierce and protective shrine. The Kounji deity commands respect and fear, wielding power over flame itself. Rural communities have long entrusted their homes to this kami, seeking protection from fire and prosperity in household matters.
