Takama Shrine

Takatenjinsha Shrine, located in Kakegawa City, Shizuoka Prefecture, was designated as a gōsha (village shrine) in the modern shrine ranking system. It has long been a shrine of deep faith for warriors, said to bestow victory and good fortune. Situated near Takatenjin Castle, it is traditionally associated with samurai who came here to pray for triumph in battle during the Warring States period. Even today, the shrine's divine power remains undiminished, attracting many visitors seeking courage and good fortune.
