Onoe Shrine in Kakogawa enshrines the four Sumiyoshi deities renowned as guardian gods of seafaring — Sokotsutsunoo, Nakatsutsunoo, Uwatsutsunoo, and Empress Jingu. For generations, countless worshippers have come to pray for maritime safety and safe passage. This site in Harima has long drawn deep veneration. Many also visit to ward off misfortune and pray for good fortune, and the shrine continues to quietly watch over the lives of local people today.
