History
This Komagi Suwa Shrine has been enshrined in this area since ancient times and is familiar to the local people. Although its founding is uncertain, it is said to have invited a branch spirit from Suwa Taisha and has been worshipped as the guardian deity of this land since antiquity. The principal deity is Takeminakata-no-Mikoto. The shrine grounds are quiet, with dense trees, creating a calm atmosphere. Visitors forget the hustle and bustle of daily life in its mystical space and purify their minds. It is a cherished shrine that has long listened to the wishes of the people in this region.
