History
Morito Daimyojin is an ancient shrine with ties to Minamoto no Yoritomo, situated in a scenic location overlooking the sea of Hayama. It is said to have been founded when Yoritomo enshrined the Mishima Daimyojin here, and it received the deep devotion of the Kamakura shogunate's generals. The view overlooking Sagami Bay from the shrine's grounds is spectacular, with the sunset being particularly beautiful. As a deity protecting sea safety, it has attracted the strong faith of those in the fishing industry, and visitors continue to offer prayers with the beautiful sea as their backdrop.

最寄り駅は京急線逗子葉山駅で、駅から徒歩約8分です。国道134号線沿いに位置しており、鎌倉からは車で約15分の距離にあります。
初詣時期と海水浴シーズン（7月～8月）は参拝者が集中します。特に休日の午前中は混雑する傾向にあります。
神社専用の駐車場はなく、近隣の有料パーキングの利用となります。海岸沿いのため夏季は満車になりやすいため、公共交通機関のご利用をお勧めします。
