History

Byakko

Tojitsu-ji, enshrined in Gino-cho, Tsu, is a temple that preserves and transmits the teachings of ancient Buddhism. When I visited, quiet practice continued within its halls, and many hearts were illuminated by its light. Its wooden architecture, matured with age, gracefully bears time's weight, and even now its teachings remain pure, close to the hearts of pilgrims.
